Mango lassi and Mango shake

Nothing beats hot summers than “thandi” lassi and if fresh tangy mangoes are added it just multiplies the “maza”. And if you are not that much of a yogurt fan replace it with milk and a tasty thick shake is ready for you to enjoy! A great hit amongst kids and adults both, a chilled glass of lassi or shake is bound to leave you asking for more.

Mango Lassi
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup mango puree/pulp
  • 2 cups beaten curd/plain yogurt
  • Honey/sugar to taste
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom/elaichi powder
  • Ice cubes

Method:
Blend all the ingredients together and serve chilled.

Mango Shake
Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup mango puree/pulp
  • 2 cups milk
  • Sugar/honey to taste
  • Few saffron strands
  • ¼ tsp cardamom/elaichi powder
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream (optional)
  • Few sliced almonds for garnish
  • Ice cubes/crushed

Method:
Blend all the ingredients in a mixer except the almonds. Garnish with almonds, saffron and cardamom powder and serve chilled.
