Egg ‘n Cheese Sandwich

The classic boiled egg is the most simple and edible delight, full in protein and contains just about 70 calories.
For a perfectly boiled egg, place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt. Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cover with a lid. Allow the eggs to sit for 11 minutes. Drain and cool the eggs for 2 minutes in ice water. Drain and peel the eggs. 
This is one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches, yummy and filling a very healthy start for a day!
Preparation and cooking time: 20 minutes


  • 2 Slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 egg boiled and sliced
  • 1 cheddar cheese slice
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Butter


  • Toast the bread slices coat them with some butter. Place cheese on top of one slice.
  • Now arrange the egg slices on it and sprinkle with some salt and pepper. Put the other bread slice on top.
  • Enjoy with tea or coffee.
